%X Based on Jacobson’s molecular free length theory in liquids and the relationship between the ultrasonic velocity and the molecular free length in organic liquids, the equation of the acoustic nonlinearity parameter in organic liquid binary mixtures is derived. The calculated values from the equation are in good agreement both with those from Apfel’s and from Sehgal’s mixture laws.
