%X The piecewise linearization method is used to approach the nonlinearity of the plant when a class of non affine SISO nonlinear system is under consideration.The adaptive control law is induced on the base of the Lyapunov's second law to ensure the global stability of the system and verified by the plant of the electrode regulator system of arc furnace.The simulation result shows the effectiveness of the design,which is of significant importance in dealing with a class of nonlinear system and can provide meaningful idea for the solving of some nonlinear system problem.
