%X An optimal control model of on-ramp metering was constructed, which was based on the dynamic discrete traffic flow model in multilane freeway. In order to reduce the complexity, the control problem was decomposed to a bilevel hierarchical control problem. Its algorithm and an example of simulation were also presented.
