%X As the rapidly emerging field of research frontier, plasmonics holds the potentials to bring the revolutions in a wide range of applications, from photonics, spanning to major areas of information technologies, biotechnologies as well as energy innovations. The bibliometrical methods combined with tools of patent analyzing, such as TDA, CiteSpace, and Aureka are applied to explore the current research state and the trends in nano plasmonics. Consequently, by comparison with European roadmap, suggestions on China’s research strategies of nano plasmonics have been put forward.
