%X Based on analyzing the electronic warfare systems and the engaging processes, the method hierarchizing object, class and type was introduced, and the elements in electronic warfare system, such as entity, state, attribute, and relation, etc. were generalized. And then the ontology for electronic warfare was brought forward. At last, the ontology was applied in the example ship confronting approaching missile in which general formalization about electronic warfare simulation models was researched. hhe ontology makes for ensuring the basic attributes in electronic warfare, constructing the models of electronic warfare in advance simulation systems, which all arc basics for bottoming the combined distributed electronic warfare simulation systems.
