%X As a typical complex system, Internet exhibits many novel emergent phenomena. Studying on these phenomena will help us to understand the law of Internet, and it is of important significance in building a safe, credible, controllable and manageable next generation Internet and boosting the sustainable and sound development of the next generation Internet. This paper studies the emergent phenomena in the Internet, outlines their major features, presents the main models and methods, and points out the direction of further investigation.
