%X Target localization and tracking have become an important fundamental technology in wireless sensor networks. Because of the special topology structure, grid-deployed wireless sensor networks have a great advantage at target localization. Based on the grid-deployed networks, this paper proposed a doublclevcl grid localization method, which is both theoretical and practical. Simulation results discover the regular pattern between different impacting factors and location error, which is meaningful to the real application of our method. I}he results of real system prove that the double-level grid localization method can not only keep location precision at some degree, but also has great capabilities of real-time and good practicality.
