%X In this paper,a novel joint multi-path routing and channel assignment strategy based on path crossing for the cognitive wireless mesh networks was proposed. The strategy combines the basic processes of on-demand routing, and sets up the relay function of cross-nodes according to the chosen routes,then selects the channel based on the minimum number of channels occupied by the primary users, and finally gives a solution to channel conflict. Simulation results show that, compared with the link-based and interference-based strategy, the new strategy has an obvious advantage in the performance of delay and throughput.
