%X Software product line is a new software development methods, production line management as one of the three basic activities directly affects the practice of software product line. In this paper,from the software metrics view,according to GQ(I)M model,a metri}based framework of software product line management was proposed and metrics which must be tracked in the management process was defined. This work has significance lead meaning for the effective implementation of product line management activities.
