%X A novel design for a two-channel IIR quadrature mirror filter(QMF) bank with near-perfect reconstruction was presented in this thesis.The analysis filter bank was given by an efficient poly-phase network implementation based on all-pass filters.The arising phase distortions were almost compensated by the synthesis filter bank.Based on the theo-ry of the perfect reconstruction of QMF,the synthesis filter bank was also given by the stable all-pass filters,designed via analytical closed-form expressions,so the...
