%X Many methods have been proposed to satisfy the needs of massive data processing, among which cloud compuling is an outstanding one. The main thought of Cloud computing is using large number of PCs to compose a huge cluster as a server. With the development of Cloud Computing technology, more and more applications will turn into Cloud, including the DBMS. As Database system requires ACID, when it comes to data distribution, some operations'performance may decline, such as joins. In this paper we proposed a Selection Oriented data Distribution strategy(SOD) to improve the performance of DBMS in Cloud Computing, which works well through the experiments.
