%X Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs) are the products which integrate computation techniques,communication techniques and sensor techniques.WSNs are the brand-new techniques of information processing.This paper firstly simply introduces architecture and performance measures of WSNs.Then it emphatically analyzes and compares some typical routing protocols of WSNs and points out respective characteristics.Finally,the future trends of research on routing protocols for WSNs are put forward.
