%X Traditional compiling intermediate code is normally hard to be transformed between heterogeneous environments,such as mobile,embedded and distributed sstems.The building and management of symbol table is related with all stages of intermediate code.So a compiling symbol table building method based on XML Schema and its related techniques is proposed.Firstly,the design architecture of compiling process is given,then it expatiated how to represent front end and object machine architecture of backend of compiler.As a result,the symbol table can be managed and validated by XML tools,so the compiling intermediate code is with high portability,which can be applied and translated into compilers of different environments.
