%X This paper presents a face recognition algorithm, SML, which simplifies the similarity computation and modifies the training and preprocess of image. Based on a subset of FERRET face data set and the AI of NJU test human face database, experimental results indicate that SML improves the efficiency of ML algorithm and has a higher recognition accuracy than PCA method.
