%X Security issue challenges active network much more than it does to the traditional one, and obviously is an obstacle preventing active network from being put into real application. In this survey, we focus our research on active network security. We first present the state-of-art of this research field, and then introduce the security architecture of active networks. Afterwards, different approaches to implement secure activate network are analyzed. Finally, we give some interesting fields that are worthy of investigation and research in the future.
