%X The ASOS (Application Specific embedded Operating Systems)has now become a promising development field of the embedded system. The paper discusses the concept of the ASOS. and the main characteristics of the systems. The object-oriented technique .component-based technique and the pattern-generation technique are proposed in building the ASOS.
