%X Most of numerical simulation methods regarding cloth draping are based on mechanical models. The representation of these models is common to be a uniform grid. The problem regarding the simulation run is to represent realistically the mechanical system surface and its associated motion which are strongly related to mesh discretization. This paper presents a new method based on adaptive meshing allowing the mechanical system to behave without any constraint related to a uniform mesh. Both the physical and geometrical properties of cloth are to be considered in the method. The method dynamically meshes and unites grid by analyzing the local deformation information of cloth surface in cloth simulation,and will effectively improve the simulation efficiency. And the practical application proves that the simulation is fairly high efficiency and realistically. The simulation efficiency and precision are both satisfying especially in non-uniform deformation object simulation.
