%X In this paper, we have listed, explained and classified the CASE database requirements. We also consider the main data manager classes,and classify them according to how well they satisfy each of the requirements. The major conclusion is that the object-oriented and extended relational DBMS's currently satisfy well most of the CASE database requirements,and that they are e-volving in the right direction so that they will provide all the power needed by CASE environments.
