In order to support complicated applications under embedded Internet environment. WebitX is designed a multitask preemptive kernel based on priority. To guarantee the timeliness and reliability of embedded Internet applications.such system services as task scheduling, synchronization and communication between tasks, timer management and network protocol are provided by WebitX. An embedded TCP/IP stack is provided by WebitX to realize devices linked to Internet and partial functions of TCP/IP suite are implemented using a modular solution with the limit of hardware resource.
