%X With the development of the computer technology and the Internet, the application of databases is developing rapidly. However, in the field of computer applications where everything is being continuously optimized, upgraded,and integrated, it is hard to reuse data in a heterogeneous environment.This forms information islands. Based on XML,which is the carrier of heterogeneous data for data exchange, adopting the J2EE and Dom4j technology, we solve the problem of data exchange for relational databases in a heterogeneous environment effectively. By guaranteeing integrity,we provide users with a flexible and low overhead method for heterogeneous data management.
