%X With the application of Data Matrix in people's daily life and industrial product,the detection of Data Matrix has become very useful.The existing detection algorithm is only suitable for printed paper;it can not be used to detect Data Matrix which is punched on other material surfaces.This paper presents a machine learning based on the method which can detect the Data Matrix on various surfaces.We extend the AdaBoost algorithm to Adaptive-SpatialBoost which can adaptively combine the texture information and spatial connection.The Data Matrix detector trained by this algorithm has achieved 100% detection rate on the test samples in our experiment.
