It analyzes current situation of algorithm for detecting the Center of Structured Light Stripe, and compares advantages and disadvantages between current algorithms. We put forward a new algorithm to detect the Center of Structured Light Stripe combining gradient sharpening with barycenter method,which firstly extracts fringe using gradient sharpening,secondly gets quasi-center of Structured Light Stripe, lastly attains the Center of Structured Light Stripe with barycenter method .Experiment results indicate this algorithm can extract Center of Structured Light Stripe accurately, it is of strong anti-noise capability and its accuracy is at sub-pixel level. %K image process %K center of structured light stripe %K gradient sharpening %K barycenter method
