%X On the basis of analyzing existing commonly used interpolation methods for generating the regular grid model from the corresponding contour line model, this paper presents a new interpolation method based on block and point-by-point interpolation technology. This algorithm has already been accomplished with Microsoft Visual C .net programming. And the result of interpolation has been successfully applied to the Terrain Visualization Platform.
