%X Image enhancement is a common procedure in order to enhance the contrast , sharpen the edge and optimize the visual quality of the input image, so that the resulting processed image is more suitable for a given application . The algorithm proposed in this paper , which is based on the sloped-facet model of Haralick and the contrast enhancement technique of Beghdadi, can enhance image efficiently while reducing noise, and it can preserve the original information of image perfectly.
