%X The effect of V on the high temperature deformation behavior has been investigated by usingdouble-notch shear test.The experiment results revealed that the V additive can improve theambient temperature ductility and decrease the ductile-brittle transition temperature.Thestrength of TiAl compound with the additive of V increases with the increase of temperatureup to the peak value at 700℃ approximately.
