%X The distribution law of the lateral residualstress at the welding seam is determinated by meansofcuttingthespecimen. Becausetocutthespecimencansimulateapproximatelytheex tension ofthe fatiguecrack,through measuring thestressreleased and calculating the distri bution oftheresidualstressthelaw isfound thattherateofthefatiguecrackextensionisaf fected bytheresidualstress.
