%X Ethyl acetate extract (EAE) of the culture of Alternaria sp. N.SBA10 isolated from Scutellaria baicalensis in solid state fermentation showed good antioxidant activity. Three compounds isolated from EAE were identified as dibutyl phthalate (DBP) (1), alternariol methyl ether (AME) (2) and alternariol (AOH) (3) by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectral analysis.
