%X Two species of rust fungi were reported on Keteleeria evelyniana Mast, i.e. Chrysomyxa keteleeriae (Tai) Wang et Peterson on host needles and Pe-ridermium kunmingense Jen forming fusiform tumors on twigs and stems. Recently, a new pathogen causing twig rust on the same host was found at the Hot Spring region in Kunming. The aecia are buried under epidermis of oblate spheroidal tumors on the host twigs. The scanning electron microscopic observation shows that there are longitudinal ditchs on the warts of aeciospores obviously. A new species, Peridermium keteleeriae-evelynianae Zhou et Chen is therefore proposed. Latin diagnoses and the SME photos are given. The main differences between this species and P. kunmingense are discussed. The holotype is deposited in the Plant Pathology Herbarium of Southwest Forestry College, Kunming, Yunnan.
