%X It was observed that after Cordyceps sinensis invaded host larvae and entered the coelom, the mycelia fragmented into fusiform thalli. The thalli were multiplied by apical budding, and plasmogamy occurred, the mycelia filled the coeloms of the host larvae, resulting in the death of insects and forming sclerotia looking like rigid worms. The sclerotia germinates to form stromata .
