%X Mycena osmundicola Lange. was labelled by 3H - glucose. The seeds of Gastrodia data Bl. were sown on the saprophytic leaves of labelled M. osmundicola. By means of autoradiography, we found that the hyphae of M. osmundicola were digested and resolved when labelled M. osmundicola infected embryonic cells. There were a lot of silver grains in non-infected large cells of the embryo. The silver grains also deposited in the meristematic cells with development of embryo. In the embryonic cells, the assimilated labelled materials were transfered by plasmodesma. The results showed that M. osmundicola supplied nutrition for seed germination of G. elata.
