%X With the analysis of clustering algorithms, an applied model for telecom customer segments was provided, which achieved good applications in actual customer market segments, and provided reference for designing telecom service products. With introduction to definition of index difference, a new method was presented to evaluate the application effect of clustering algorithms. The method shows the best performance of K-means for actual cases in telecommunication customer segments with multiple clustering algorithms such as K-means, SOM, and BIRCH.
