%X An adaptive algorithm of echo hiding based on short-time energy computing was proposed in this paper. The original audio was first divided into segments, and the energy of each segment was computed. The decay rate of echo kernel was adaptively adjusted according to the energy of each segment. And the detection of the secret information took the advantage of a power cepstrum computing method. The experimental results show that the improved method is robust to many attack operations and a significant improvement in imperceptibility is achieved.
