%X Network security visualization is a highlighted topic of network security research in recent years. The necessity of network security visualization was presented firstly, and then an overview of network security visualization including the concepts, steps, taxonomy, many current algorithms, and their advantages and disadvantages were presented . Finally, the existing problems and the future directions in this field were discussed.
