%X After the deep study of weighted fuzzy neural networks and particle swarm optimization algorithm, a pruning algorithm was proposed to optimize the fuzzy rules automatically. The fuzzy neural network was constructed on the basis of the effective rules obtained through fuzzy rules searching. Numerical simulations for taste identification of tea show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
