%X With the development of computers and Internet, more and more people use E-mail. Viruses of E-mail have caused large damages. Traditional intentional immunization based on degree does not take the positions of infected nodes into account, but just protects the nodes which have high degree. The concept of community was introduced into the research of virus and immunization, and an immunization model based on community was proposed. According to the different infection stages of viruses, this model immunized infected communities or health communities. It slowed down the virus spread rate and kept the virus from spreading to more communities. Intentional immunization based on degree can not keep the virus in certain communities, and as a result the infected nodes diffuse in almost all communities. Immunization based on community can keep the virus in certain communities. These two models are different in the number of nodes that need to be protected, and in community infection rate. So, immunization based on community is different from that based on degree in terms of principle, and it is novel and effective.
