%X Study on network resilience is about the characteristics of robustness and vulnerability in random failing of nodes and intended attacking on nodes. The resilience of Gnutella network was analyzed, and the result was compared with that of ER and EBA models. The result shows that Gnutella network exhibits very good fault-tolerance characteristic, but is very fragile under intended attacks. Finally,the network resilience was analyzed theoretically,and a closed-form solution for average size of clusters was reached before the largest cluster of network appeared.
