%X With the development of 3G networks, the performance of mobility management and quality of service in the networks are highly expected. For this purpose, a new mobility management scheme for 3G Radio Access Networks, which combines MPLS and HMIPv6 in a loosely coupling way, was presented. The scheme would not only support the fast-handover algorithm in HMIPv6, but also provide the guarantee of QoS when handover happens.
