%X To solve the problem of spatial overlaying of Geographic Information System (GIS) data in embedded system, a new spatial operator algorithm based on label was presented. According to the approach, the topological graph was constructed, the labels of the edges were computed, the edges were selected by the rules, and the new geometry was built. The results show the algorithm is applicable not only for the geometries of the same dimension but also for that of different dimension. And it is practicable for embedded GIS system of land survey, and can accomplish alternation at field survey spot and has universal validity.
