%X The hue singularity of HSV and its influence on image retrieval under the low saturation and the low value were analyzed. In order to solve this problem, an image retrieval method based on multiple color space was presented: the pixels in the singular regions were expressed by YUV and the others by HSV. The experiments prove that this method can eliminate the influence on image retrieval caused by HSV hue singularity to a certain extent, and improve the retrieval performance.
