%X Fast Intraprediction Pan algorithm based on edge directional histogram was improved in this paper. The block type selection method (Intra_4×4 and Intra_16×16) and early termination technology for 4×4 luma block mode decision were employed. Experimental results show that the one-frame scramble time of fast intrapredicton algorithm, compared with Pan algorithm, is reduced by 29.093% with negligible loss of peak signal-to-noise ratio.
