%X Sensor nodes which are organized in clusters could use either single hop or multi-hop mode of communication to send their data to their respective cluster heads, The energy cost problem of wireless sensor networks was analysed, and the energy cost of sensor nodes in the both modes of communication was studied. The optimum numbers of cluster heads were confirmed by using mode of data aggregation, and it is proved that the method which fits the coverage control of wireless sensor networks is feasible.
