%X For unreliable ad hoc networks,a new energy efficient routing algorithm based on Ad hoc On Demand Distance Vector(AODV) called Retransmission-aware Energy-efficient AODV protocol(REAODV) was presented.According to the total energy consumption(including the retransmission energy cost),REAODV chose routings.Moreover,dynamic power control realized by cross-layer optimization was used to reduce the energy cost.Extensive simulations were conducted to evaluate the performance of the new routing algorithm compared to the AODV.
