王晓喃 %A 钱焕延 %J 计算机应用研究 %D 2012 %I %X This paper presented a mobility management scheme for MANETs connected to the next-generation Internet. In this scheme, it proposed the MANET hierarchical architecture based on clusters which was fully compatible with the IPv6 network architecture. Accordingly, it proposed the establishment algorithm for establishing a cluster to minimize the number of the cluster heads. Based on the proposed MANET hierarchical architecture, it also put forward the hierarchical IPv6 address structure for MANETs and discussed the corresponding IPv6 address configuration algorithm. Based on the proposed MANET hierarchical architecture and the proposed IPv6 address structure, it presented the mobility management scheme. The comparative results show that the proposed scheme can effectively reduce the number of mobility handovers, and decrease both the control message cost and the packet loss rate. %K mobile Ad hoc network(MANET) %K mobility management %K IPv6 network %K cluster %K cluster head
