%X Nowadays, there has been a problem that error channel models were not considered into energy consumption model of WLAN BSS power saving stations, in this paper, the authors ,with combination of Gilbert-Elliot(GE) error channel model and energy consumption model for transmission of TCP flows on power saving stations(STAs) in WLAN BSS , suggested a new hybrid model. Then, the authors provided quantized expression to figure out how GE channel parameters affected energy consumption in transmission of TCP flows on power saving STAs, and verified validity of this new model by simulating with NS2.
