%X This paper proposed on adaptive bidirectional bacterial foraging optimizationABBFO, which had self-adaptive chemotactic step size based clustering, could improve algorithm's local search ability. Bidirectional swarm was devised to enhance the efficiency and speed of algorithm, 10 complex Benchmark functions have been tested. The simulation shows that the ABBFO has better search ability and stability than other typical algorithm up to 60%~90% among test functions. The comparisons also shows ABBFO is an effective optimization.
