%X This paper classified SVC-based P2P steaming systems into three categories according to the architecture of data transmission, including tree-based, hybrid, and mesh-based. Then it thoroughly investigated the advances in the above mentioned three types systems, especially the mesh-based SVC-based P2P streaming systems, and discussed deficiencies in the existing works and issues to be further studied in the future.
