%X Learned from software architecture research, this paper proposed the concept of a service connector to extend service-oriented architecture, designed an independent and lightweight self-healing framework for Web service based on service connectors. Moreover, it analyzed diagnostic factors for service failure and related specification methods and described three recovery strategies for Web service. Finally an example was given to illustrate the usability of the proposed method.
