Nevertheless, SIP suffers from an undesirable delay for some cases, which is detrimental to real-time applications such as VoIP (voice over IP) requiring stringent quality of service. This paper proposed a heterogeneous network framework based-SigComp (signaling compression), in which all generated signaling messages were transmitted after compressed. It was evaluated under NS2. Simulation results illustrate with proposed framework the propagation latency and the overhead are significantly decreased 20%, 30% respectively. %K heterogeneous networks %K session initiation protocol %K mobility management %K SigComp
