%X In order to study LDPC codes error floor phenomenon, this paper proposed a method using importance sampling method. In the AWGN channel, when the bit error rate was very low, compared to the traditional Monte Carlo method, the proposed method achieved higher simulation gain, with the same simulation quality. The method could also simulate the area which could not be simulated using the traditional Monte Carlo method. The simulation results show that, for a code length equal to 2 000, code rate equal to 1 / 2 LDPC code word, when the bit error rate of 10-20, the proposed method achieves more than 1014 simulation gain.
