%X To layout cutting path of independent expanded polystyrene(EPS) cutter,this paper proposed a new adaptive slicing algorithm for STL models based on the feature facets of the model.It could determine the suitable slicing places and planes automatically from feature facets in the cutting direction and minimal processing thickness.The algorithm saved from a complicated coordinate transformation,and got two contours of cross section at any direction in the meantime.The algorithm used a new method to slice facet...
